Healing Retreats for Trauma & Grief

Since the war began in October 2023, Free Spirit Experience has been operating powerful, therapeutic retreats for individuals affected by trauma and loss.

What started as healing spaces for Nova Festival survivors has grown to include:

 

Nova Survivors

Young adults who fled the horrors of the Nova music festival were the first to participate in our 3-day healing retreats, where they found space, safety, and professional care.

Reserve Soldiers​

As the war continued, we opened our doors to reserve soldiers - many of whom spent weeks or months in intense combat zones without mental health support.

Educators from Sderot

Teachers and school staff from Sderot, under years of psychological pressure and emotional fatigue, came for a moment to rest and rebuild.

Bereaved Siblings

Since late 2023, we have held special retreats for siblings who lost a loved one - offering a unique space for grief, identity, and reconnection.

What the Retreats Include

 

  • 3-day fully hosted retreats at our Kibbutz-based center (food, lodging, and program)

  • Group and individual therapy sessions with licensed therapists

  • Body-mind therapies such as yoga, acupuncture, art, and nature-based healing

  • Ongoing support after the retreat to ensure long-term impact

All retreats are free of charge to participants, funded by us and generous donors like you.
